Can’t find your calendar? (Android)

SyncWake reads the calendars your phone has synced, the same ones Google Calendar or Samsung Calendar can show. A calendar that lives only inside another app, or on a website, isn’t on the phone yet. Sync it to the phone first, then come back to SyncWake and select it.

Using the Outlook app: turn on Sync calendars

The quickest option if you already use the Outlook app. It works for personal Outlook.com accounts and for work or school Microsoft 365 accounts.

  1. Open the Outlook app and tap your profile picture, then the Settings gear.
  2. Tap the account whose calendar you want and turn on Sync calendars. In some versions of Outlook the switch is under Settings › Calendar instead.
  3. If Android asks whether Outlook can access your calendar, tap Allow.
  4. Repeat for each account whose calendar you want in SyncWake.

No Sync calendars switch?

On a work or school account, your organization may have turned this off. Ask your IT department whether calendar sync is allowed. Some organizations let you add the account to the phone instead: Settings › Accounts and backup › Manage accounts › Add account › Exchange.

Google Calendar

Google accounts sync their calendars automatically. If a Google calendar is missing:

  1. Open Settings, go to Accounts and backup › Manage accounts (or Passwords, passkeys & accounts), tap your Google account, then Account sync, and make sure Calendar is on.
  2. Open the Google Calendar app, tap Menu (☰) › Settings, tap the missing calendar, and make sure Sync is on. Calendars shared with you often start with this off.
  3. In Google Calendar, tap Menu › Refresh.
