Smart timing for your whole day
Alarms built for real life—not just mornings
Whether it is a meeting, a train to catch, or a key personal moment, syncwake helps you set the right reminders, follow clear getting-ready steps, and avoid social media doom scrolling right before what matters.
Native apps for Android and iPhone are on the way. We are shipping on Android first, with iOS right after.
The big idea
Alarms are not only for waking up
Most alarm apps stop at a single beep at a fixed time. Real life is messier: overlapping plans, travel time, and losing track in social apps when you meant to get ready. We are building something that treats alarms as moments you care about, mornings, yes, but also work, errands, and transitions between events.
Who it helps
Stay on track through busy days
syncwake gives you a clear plan for each moment: what is next, when to move, and what to do first. Helpful if your day gets crowded, your attention gets pulled in many directions, or you just want less mental load.
- Less to hold in your head: calendar context, travel buffers, checklists, and optional weather on the alarm tile—so the plan is not only in your memory.
- Softer transitions: optional focus heads-up before the next ring; clear clutter detection when many same-day alarms bunch together; dynamic reminders beside fixed and travel-aware alarms.
- Respectful by default: features are opt-in, copy stays kind, and you choose what feels supportive—not preachy.
Privacy first
Your day, on your device
Everything the app needs to run your alarms and preferences is stored on your device. There are no user accounts and no remote servers that hold your alarm or personal routine data—no opaque third-party backends receiving that core information.
- AI help on your device syncwake can use AI on your phone to suggest getting-ready steps and alarm sounds. Your core alarm data stays on your device for these features.
- Calendars stay local Calendar information is read on the same device through your phone’s calendar access and stays on your device. The app does not sign in to your calendar provider on your behalf or sync your account to our servers.
- Settings you control Deep, flexible settings so you can tune notifications, integrations, and features to match how you work—and how much you want to share.
Your calendar, in sync with your alarms
Connect the calendars you care about. The app can create and update alarms around real events, so you are not copying meeting times by hand. You choose which calendars count, and how early you want to be reminded.
Travel-aware timing when a place is on the event
When an event has a location and you have set up home or work, the app can factor in getting there, not just the time on the invite. It can nudge you when it is realistic to leave, with a buffer you control.
You do not need to keep opening maps over and over to double-check traffic or whether you will still arrive on time. syncwake recalculates leave timing as conditions change, so your “time to go” stays grounded in the real world—not a guess from the first time you looked.
By default, travel estimates assume you leave from home—but you can set a different departure address per event when you are leaving from somewhere else.
Sound that fits the moment
Pick a calm default, record a short voice note, or connect Spotify for a song or playlist. Your sound, whether you are starting the day or heading out the door.
Getting-ready steps you can follow
Add a short checklist before an alarm: stretch, pack your bag, bring your charger. Follow it step by step so you do not jump from zero to rush mode.
Write each step yourself, or tap for AI suggestions on your device based on your alarm title, destination, and per-alarm weather card.
AI that helps you get ready
Tap once to get AI ideas for checklist steps and sound choices that fit your context.
This AI help runs on your device for core suggestions, and you can turn it off anytime in Settings.
Weather on each alarm card
Each alarm can show its own weather snapshot so you can decide what to wear or bring for that specific moment, not just see generic current weather.
Clear clutter detection
If multiple alarms on the same day land too close together, syncwake flags that time block and shows a clear heads-up. You immediately see where your plan is overloaded and can adjust before it becomes stressful.
Dynamic reminders that auto-fit your day
Create dynamic reminders in the same flow as your other alarms. syncwake automatically picks an open slot that fits your day.
If your work or personal calendar later fills that time, syncwake re-schedules the reminder to another suitable slot so your habit stays visible.
Break social media doom scrolling in time
It is easy to open “just one” social app and end up doom scrolling past the time you meant to get ready. Focus heads-up can watch for the apps you pick, including social feeds or anything you tend to get stuck in.
If one of those apps is on screen shortly before your next alarm, you may get a quiet, gentle notification first. It is not there to nag you, but to give you a moment to close the app, take a breath, and shift toward preparing for your next event or alarm. Your real alarm still rings as usual.
This uses a one-time permission on your phone so the app can tell which app is in the foreground. You stay in control: you choose which apps count, and you can turn the feature off anytime.
Share a gentle busy signal at home
Soon, syncwake will help people in your home know when you are busy, for example during a camera-on meeting in your work room.
We are exploring ways to share this signal to smart devices, such as smart light bulbs or a small indicator outside the room door. Stay tuned for the final concept.
Show up, not just on time, but ready
Calendar-aware timing, AI help to get ready, weather per alarm, dynamic reminders that auto-fit your day, and clearer focus support before social media doom scrolling. Thanks for being early.
